Mercy Aigbe says she brought the newly wedded couple Toyin Lawani and Segun Wealth together.
The Nollywood actress spoke about their union in an interview video now making the rounds on social media.
“Segun Wealth also known as The Unknown, I don’t know if she had said this to anyone, but I actually brought them together, yes you can ask her, unknowing I introduced Segun Wealth to Tianna (Lawani),” Aigbe said.
“That makes me a middle woman in all of this, that makes me happy. I see the way they complement one another.”
Lawani, a fashion entrepreneur, and Segun, her husband, tied the knot last Saturday in a colorful wedding event.
Some prominent figures at her wedding include Aigbe herself, Iyabo Ojo, Sir Dee, Toyin Abraham, and Pretty Mike.
On February 14, Lawani had broken the news of her engagement ahead of the wedding.
The fashion entrepreneur has also made the news on several occasions over her controversial opinions on marriage and relationships.
“I said I was officially single. It doesn’t mean I’m officially stupid. My taste is high. You must pay N2 million before I go on a date with you. So if you are ugly I can Japaaa quickly and won’t be upset with myself,” she once said.
“I left my work where I get my bread to make time for you., time that I will use to get dressed and even do makeup is the same time that I will use to make money, run my many businesses, and attend to my amazing clients.”
She also once recalled how she almost removed her womb while battling fibroids in Nigeria, the US, and Dubai.
