Jidenna Theodore Mobisson, a US-based Nigerian musician, will release his debut album The Chief on Friday, February 17.
The artiste gained international prominence after the release of two successful singles, Classic Man and Yoga, in 2015.
Classic Man was nominated for best rap/sung collaboration at the Grammy awards while Jidenna was recognised as best new artist at the 2015 Soul Train music awards.
Ahead of the release of his full-length effort, Jidenna has put out a new song, The Let Out, which features Quavo.
He was in Nigeria in 2016 for a homecoming concert which took place at Hard Rock cafe, in Lagos.
The singer also visited his hometown and old school in Enugu state.
Jidenna is signed to Janelle Monáe’s Wondaland Records label and distributed through Epic Records.
