The film star has about 8.5 million followers on the photo and video sharing social networking service.

On May 3, she clocked 43 but left many of her fans worried after she posted nothing to mark the occasion.

The concerns heightened on Monday after she took down all her posts.

“Genevieve Nnaji has deleted all her Instagram posts and unfollowed everyone. This is unusual. Someone should please check on her. No one is above mental breakdown,” a user wrote on Twitter.

When TheCable Lifestyle checked her page on Tuesday morning, it was blank.

It remains to be seen what informed Nnaji’s action.

The development comes a few months after she unfollowed everyone on the platform.

With strings of awards and recognition, Nnaji has established herself as a household name in the country’s movie industry.

The Nollywood star gained prominence with her role as a child actor (8) in the then-popular television soap opera ‘Ripples’.

She has received several awards and nominations for her works — some of which include the Best Actress of the Year Award at the 2001 City People Awards and the Best Actress in a Leading Role Award at the 2005 AMAA awards.

Her movie, ‘Lionheart,’ was selected by the Nigerian Oscars Selection Committee (NOSC), as Nigeria’s submission for the best international feature film category of the 2020 Oscars.
