Funke Akindele, the Nigerian actress and producer, has responded to a troll who advised her to remarry.
The actress, who recently released her latest movie ‘A Tribe Called Judah’, is actively promoting the project across various social media channels.
A troll appeared on Akindele’s page on X and suggested she should remarry, stating that she is getting old.
“This year try and remarry u are getting old,” the user wrote.

In response, the actress wittily wrote, “Ok, wedding planner”.
Akindele was previously married to JJC Skillz, the Nigerian singer.
The pair tied the knot in 2016 and welcomed a set of twins in 2018.
But in June 2022, JJC Skillz announced his separation from Akindele.
“Dear Friends and family, I need to let you know that Funke and I have separated. While it lasted we shared a lot of things together and have created 2 beautiful children,” he wrote.
Before JJC Skillz, the movie star was formerly married to Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, the politician. The marriage was dissolved after a year.
With a slew of awards and accolades, Akindele has established herself as one of the prominent names in Nollywood.
In 2009, she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for ‘Best Actress in a Leading Role’ for ‘Jenifa’, the movie which brought her to fame.
Last year, Akindele won the ‘Best Actress in A Comedy’ category for ‘Omo Ghetto: The Saga’ at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
