Mohbad, the fast-rising singer, has put out a new single titled ‘Pariwo’.
The singer announced the release of the track via his social media pages.
In ‘Pariwo’, Mohbad enlists the musical expertise of Bella Shmurda, the Afropop singer.
In the song, the pair expressed their determination to succeed despite the negativity around them.
‘I’m open minded/ no violence/ I talk my own no silence/ chose story wey go touch them/ chose a story regardless/ I’m open minded no violence/ show some love regardless/ I have to let you know/ pariwo,” they sing in mixture of Yoruba and English.
“Singing from my soul/ bossing on my own/ don’t step on my toes/ ghetto boy dey hustle/ since 2020/ I will never tire/ na fire for fire.”
Mohbad is a former artiste with Marlian Records, the label owned by Naira Marley.
In October last year, the singer alleged assualt against him by Marley and his team, a claim dismissed by the latter.
Bella Shmurda has also established himself as a popular artiste in the Nigerian music landscape.
He became popular after releasing ‘Vision 2020’ and ‘Cash App’, his hit singles.
