The couple, who are currently in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, for the 2023 hajj pilgrimage announced this on Friday.

In an Instagram post, the excited comedian shared a picture of the child’s hand.

He also revealed that their bundle of joy — a boy — is an Alhaji.

Nigerians who visit Saudi Arabia for pilgrimage are usually referred to as Alhaji (for men) and Hajiya (for women) upon their return.

“Never is man more of a man than when he is the father of a newborn. I have a son now and he is Alhaji. Thank you my love @mahma,” the post reads.

Several colleagues and fans of the entertainer have taken to the comment section of his post to congratulate his family.

In 2021, the lovebirds tied the knot at a private wedding ceremony held in Ogbomosho, Oyo state.

Last year, the comedian, born Abdulgafar Ahmad Oluwatoyina, was appointed as senior special assistant (SSA) to AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Kwara governor, on creative industries.

The appointment came not long after he announced he had quit the Nigerian navy.

In 2021, the navy had detained him for allegedly violating its social media policy — a development which had elicited a wave of backlash.

He would later be released after serving his punishment and then returned to social media a few days later.
