An X user, simply identified as Iykology, shared throwback pictures of Denrele. The user also argued that Bobrisky had “pursued him from the market”.

“Who still remember Denrele? Naso Bobrisky take style pursue em commot for market,” he wrote.

In response, Denrele asked the troll to stop spreading “false narratives” about him.

The 42-year-old also boasted that he is a media personality with over “3 decades of expertise” in the entertainment industry.

Denrele added that he is not an internet sensation — implying that he does not operate in the same realm as Bobrisky.

“Deaden this narrative. This is 2024. P.S: Denrele Edun is a media personality with a professional career spanning over 3 decades of expertise, experience and exposure in showbiz,” he wrote.

“He is not an internet sensation and doesn’t operate in markets. Thanks for coming to my TedX talk.”

Denrele is well known for his unique fashion sense and dramatic personality.

The media personality is a graduate of English Language from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

He started his career as a model but became popular in the early 2000s when he joined Soundcity as a red-carpet host and TV presenter.

In 2022, Denrele stated categorically that he was not a crossdresser.

Bobrisky, on the other hand, started to gain fame as a crossdresser.

She made the headlines on numerous occasions for claiming to be Nigeria’s first transgender. She once admitted to having severed her genitals.

In September 2021, Bobrisky also talked about some of the perks she enjoys being a “woman”.
