Bobrisky, a Nigerian self-acclaimed transgender, has taken to social media to explain why he chose to be a cross-dresser.
In a post on his Instagram page on Saturday, the controversial internet personality said he became a cross-dresser in order to make ends meet after 25 years of being a man.
In the lengthy post, the Snapchat celebrity, whose real name is Idris Okuneye, also said despite being a graduate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), he had to struggle for years to make ends meet.
Bobrisky said after seeing how his female friends were fending well, he decided to be a cross-dresser so he won’t end up being a nuisance to the society.
“Dis message is for you all to read before you judge me. I was formally a man for almost 25yrs, nothing to show for it. I kept struggling even with my certificate as a graduate of accounting in University of Lagos, nothing to still show for it,” he wrote alongside an old picture of himself as a man and a recent one of him dressed as a woman.
“I saw how all my females friends were cashing out back then. I went home and think about my life. If I join robbery they will end up killing me, secondly I don’t even have that heart to think to that dimension or to even scam people of their sweat.”
He said that the decision paid off for him, adding that just within a year, his life turned around for good.
Bobrisky also expressed his appreciation to all the women who accepted and showed him love.
“While I was growing I have a little bit of female features in me, so I decide to try what cross dressing look like. Under one yr of cross dressing I started making money. I was still surprise. So I gave my body more time, rubbing expensive creams, smelling good, using more of females body pills and looking out for myself,” he added.
“Boom. More money keep coming…men admiring me, women giving me endorsements from right and left. Short story I fit in as a female to a man. God bless all d women around d world. Many of you love me and accepted me, save me and I will always respect women.”

In another post, Bobrisky revealed that he has saved over $300,000 to undergo a sex change surgery in Columbia by 2021.
“2021, I’m going for a full sex change. Columbia get ready,” he wrote.
