Davido, the Afrobeats singer, has remained silent amid multiple allegations of unpaid debts.

In recent weeks, various prominent individuals have stepped forward, claiming that the singer owes them money.

One of the allegations comes from Abu Salami, a businessman, who accused the music star of making threats after breaching a financial agreement related to a children football’s project.

Salami claimed Davido failed to fulfil his part of the contract, which he said was “worth over N200 million”.

Similarly, Dammy Krane, the Nigerian singer, took to social media to accuse Davido of an unpaid debt from 2022.

He said the singer refused to pay him for his songwriting contribution to a track and begged him to honour their contract for the sake of his daughter.

Samklef, the singer, also joined in calling out Davido. He gave his colleague a 24-hour ultimatum to pay Salami.

“Abeg anybody wey know Davido, tell am say I give am 24 hours to pay mastermind the N1 million wey e don dey owe my boy since 2020. Since 2020 e don dey owe mastermind N1 million and this boy dey suffer,” he said.

Blessing CEO, a relationship coach, claimed that Davido is yet to pay Ikechukwu Ogbonna (IVD), the auto dealer, the sum of N4.5 million for a car he bought for Israel DMW, his aide.

Although Davido has been very active on X, the singer has remained reticent on the multiple allegations.

He, however, shared a series of posts via X; with one of them captioned “Bulletproof” — which might insinuate he is unperturbed by the allegations.

The accusations come a few days after Amaju Pinnick, the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), called out the singer for failing to appear at a concert in Warri, despite receiving $94,600 to perform.
