There were rumours many years ago that Chidinma had been romantically involved with the two singers at different times.

But in a recent interview on Channel TV’s ‘Rubbin Minds’, the singer dismissed the rumours.

Chidinma said rumours like that always happen in the music industry, adding that she tries “my very best to prevent the distraction”.

The singer also said she would rather not talk about it.

“Stuff like that always happens in the industry, I just try as much as possible to block out the noise and the distraction,” she said.

“No, they are not true. I would not even want to talk about that at all.”

In 2019, Chidinma teamed up with Flavour for an EP titled ‘40yrs Everlasting’.

They also worked together on other music projects.

Chidinma gained popularity after winning the third season of Project Fame West Africa in 2010.

After enjoying a thriving career in secular music, in 2021, she switched to gospel music with the release of ‘Jehovah Overdo‘.

She also revealed that she made the decision because “the devil has been winning for too long”.

The singer vowed never to return to secular music, adding that she is now focused on how to use her talents to work for her “father who is in heaven”.

“So, right now is the time to work for my father. He is the one who has called me. I did not bring myself here. As a matter of fact, I did not want to be here but I am going into ministry in full force,” she said.
