The filmmaker wore a branded attire with the image of the president that reads “Relax, Jagaban will fix Nigeria”.

“Asiwaju boy. 100% unapologetically. I love Tinubu @officialaBAT. I believe in him and I’m praying for him to succeed,” Edochie.

This post comes a few days after the actor shared a picture of Tinubu on his Instagram page.

Edochie described the president as a leader and “a man of wisdom” who has the best interests of Nigerians at heart.

“As a leader, you will see certain things that your people may never see,” the actor wrote.

“You will have access to certain information that your people may never have access to. So some of your decisions may not be fully understood by the people.

“Even though they are in the best interests of the people. You have my support, sir.

“I know you are a man of wisdom. May God guide you in all the decisions you take for Nigeria. Best wishes Mr President. The Jagaban.”

On May 29, Tinubu became the 16th president of Nigeria.

In 2021, Yul announced his interest to run for the presidency of Nigeria.

Prior to his presidential bid, he had contested the Anambra state governorship election in 2017 under the Democratic Peoples Congress (DPC).

However, the actor lost after securing only 145 votes.
