Matthew Ashimolowo, the senior pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) in London, has taken to social media to celebrate his 40th wedding anniversary with Yemisi, his wife.
Ashimolowo took to his Instagram page on Monday to share a couple of family pictures taken during the occasion held in the United Kingdom on Sunday.
He also expressed his gratitude to family and church members who sent in their love, prayers, wishes and gifts.
“I would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of love, prayers, and well wishes, celebrating me and my wife’s 40th Anniversary,” he wrote.
“We were so touched and we are so thankful for all the love and gifts in cash and kind. We had a wonderful time at IGOC and celebrating with my family.”
The clergyman and his wife tied the knot in 1981. The union has been blessed with two sons — Tobi and Tomi — and grandchildren.
