The 23-year-old musician edged Tems, Oxlade, and Bella Shmurda to win the car prize set aside for the category.

Of the different categories, the ‘Next Rated’ has been one of the most exciting, contentious, and most controversial.

But despite all these, the category has become something of a trend spotter, highlighting musical acts that did well in the previous year. As the name suggests, it also spotlights acts to achieve more milestones in the years to come.
