In the less than four-minute track, which was released on Thursday, the two singers combine their unique voices with the rhythm and harmony of the instrumentals.

They also sing about the hustles and bustles of their journey to stardom, while reminiscing on their struggles.

“Lowkey/ All of them don dey notice/ I’m not joking/ All my guys dem dem know me/ Since ‘06/ I’ve been writing this story/ I no be OG/ But if you ask dem, dem know me,” they sing.

Fireboy has established a name for himself in the Nigerian music industry. He has also bagged several awards for his craft.

He recently became the first African artiste to perform on the main stage at the 2022 BET awards ceremony.

The singer had earlier announced that ‘Playboy’, his third studio album, would be released in August.

Asake, on the other hand, got his big break with the release of his hit song ‘Lady’ in 2020.

The song became popular among music lovers, including celebrities.

He was signed to Olamide-owned YBNL record earlier this year and thereafter dropped Ololade, his debut 4-tracked EP, which included the monster hits like ‘Sungba’, ‘Trabaye’, and ‘Omo Ope’.
