ZACK ORJI HOSPITALISED AFTER COLLAPSING IN ABUJA

Zack Orji, the ace actor, was hospitalised after slumping in Abuja.

Orji was said to have been rushed to the hospital last Friday following his collapse.

Abubakar Yakubu, secretary of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), revealed that details about Orji’s health are still sketchy.

He also assured that the guild would notify the public of any developments.

“It is true. He is currently in the hospital. They are running tests on him,” Yakubu said.

IRETI DOYLE: HOW I SURVIVED CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING 

Ireti Doyle, the Nollywood actress, revealed that she survived carbon monoxide poisoning on November 19, when she wanted to travel to the outskirts of Lagos.

Doyle said she was found unconscious in the car after inhaling the gas. 

She said she foamed in the mouth and bled from her nose after inhaling gas from the air conditioner vents.

“The ONLY reason I am alive to tell this story is because God, in His infinite mercy, said NO,” she continued.

“On this day, Jehovah Jireh aligned the best Nigeria had to offer – people, medical personnel, logistics, and every single resource required at that moment and the following days in my favour.

“Had ONE thing shifted out of place, I would not be here. This is a testimony and a teachable moment.

“Carbon monoxide poisoning is a thing and not just from generators. It is silent and it is swift.

“God is also real and He is faithful. I am a walking, talking, breathing testament to His faithfulness.”

Ini Edo, the Nigerian actress, said her single status is a result of her desire for genuine love and commitment in a relationship.

She said she does not want to be in a toxic relationship but needs a partner who will protect her.

She added that money is not her sole focus but she wants a partner who can effectively manage situations and be kind.

PAULO OKOYE CALLS FOR BOXING FIGHT BETWEEN IYABO OJO AND LIZZY ANJORIN

Paulo Okoye, the partner of Iyabo Ojo, last week, proposed a boxing match between the actress and Lizzy Anjorin, her colleague.

The two actresses have been embroiled in social media drama in recent months.

Anjorin recently took to Instagram to call Ojo names.

Ojo, however, fired back by threatening to sue her colleague for N500 million.

Speaking on the conflict, Paulo suggested a boxing match with a N10 million prize for the winner.

He also assured the provision of an ambulance and medical staff for the event.

DOYIN HASSAN WELCOMES FIRST CHILD AFTER 24 YEARS

Doyin Hassan, the Nigerian actor, welcomed his first child — after 24 years.

Hassan was first married to Adeola Doyin-Hassan in June 1999 but she died in February 2008.

He thereafter tied the knot with Bolanle Doyin-Hassan, his colleague at the Mount Zion Drama ministries, in April 2020, but she died eight months later.

Hassan married Oladunni, who is his third wife, in October 2022.

The 54-year-old actor recently described his newborn child with Oladunni as “a great testimony of God’s faithfulness”.

The actor, however, addressed a misunderstanding that trailed the announcement of the new birth, adding that Oladunni was not barren for 24 years.

“My new wife was not barren for 24 years. I was the one who shared a testimony of my tears and toils for 24 years. Meeting Oladunni was God’s redirection of my divine journey,” he said.

FIRE OUTBREAK AT BIDEMI KOSOKO RESIDENCE

Last Wednesday, a fire outbreak occurred at the residence of Bidemi Kosoko, the actress popular in the Yoruba film industry.

Sola Kosoko-Abina, her sister, shared videos capturing how the fire consumed the actress’ properties worth millions of naira.

Sola revealed that the house was gutted by fire while she and her siblings were at the residence of Jide Kosoko, her father and veteran actor.

She appreciated people in the neighborhood for ensuring the fire was put out.
