Davido, the Afrobeats singer, and Kallystouch, a barber, have disagreed over the biggest musician in Nigeria.

The drama started on Sunday evening when Davido, who is widely referred to as “001”, shared photos from his vacation in Dubai on Instagram.

Kallystouch left a comment on the photos which read: “the only 3rd man in the music industry 003” — suggesting he was the third biggest Nigerian artiste.

Displeased with the barber’s description of him, the singer told Kallystouch that he could have been the one to cut his hair during his visit to Abuja.

“@kallystouch I have saved your picture. I would have come to Abuja, and you would have cut my hair that is almost finished, but you like social media,” he wrote.

The ‘Assurance’ hitmaker’, who is known for his philanthropy, said Kallystouch had missed his “generation’s blessing,” adding that he had supported his three last barbers.

In his reply, the barber, who is an avid fan of Wizkid, told Davido that he had no regrets about his comment.

He added that the singer was not his God to determine how he would succeed.

Kallystouch also declared his support for Wizkid while expressing confidence in his future success.

“FC does not beg, write it down, FC does not beg. Wizkid remains my 001 in the music industry, no cap. I did not say that to hurt anyone or to pull anybody down. Again, there is a statement Davido made that he was coming to Abuja and I would have been his barber, I would have been the person to cut his hair, how?” he wrote.

“Do you know me before that I would have been your barber? If not for my comment would you have replied to me? Let’s be realistic, do you know me before? You don’t know me before? FC is number one. Apart from that, I’m not begging anybody, Davido is not my helper, because whoever will help me will not stress me, Portable has said it before.”

Davido is yet to reply to Kallystouch’s recent comment.

The disagreement comes about a week after a fight ensued between Davido and Wizkid on X.

The ‘Ojuelegba’ hitmaker mocked Davido and Don Jazzy, the Mavin Records head honcho.

Wizkid referred to Don Jazzy as an “influencer” while taunting Davido with a video of him on his knees, pleading and crying.

The singer’s posts attracted criticism from a segment of social media users and also a retialation from Davido.
