Yomi Fabiyi, a filmmaker, was earlier accused of sexual misconduct by self-confessed wannabe actress Enny Gold.

Gold claimed she met the filmmaker nine years ago when acting was her passion and he demanded sex in return for a movie role.

Fabiyi denied the allegations in a series of posts via his Instagram page promising to sue for defamation.

He went ahead to petition the Lagos state government and even put a bounty on Gold saying “I will advise this woman to run, please whoever knows her should advise her accordingly.”

Gold then responded by taking the case to the ministry of women affairs on Monday, who in turn invited Fabiyi for questioning.

She posted details of the filed suit saying she equally filed a petition against the filmmaker with the police.

“The office of the Permanent Secretary has summoned the said YOMI FABIYI for an interrogation in their office.

“I have equally instructed my solicitors to file a petition against YOMI FABIYI at the office of the Assistant Inspector General of Police.

“I have decided to take these proactive steps to protect my name and reputation and to sustain my story about my encounter with YOMI FABIYI sometimes in the year 2008 and to emphatically declare that I am not a blackmailer as alleged but rather a victim of sexual harassment.

Apparently, Fabiyi- who threatened to open a can of worms- didn’t honour the invitation.

Gold, once again, took to her Instagram page to reveal the filmmaker was absent and had given an excuse for being preoccupied on the set of a movie.

She wrote: “A meeting was scheduled today 22nd November 2017 at the office of permanent secretary, Ministry of women affairs, Alausa for 10 am between me Eniola Eunice Omoshalewa and Yomi Fabiyi, which Yomi had initially been summoned.

“I was there but Yomi did not show up, he sent a message claiming he is shooting a movie which might take him two weeks.

“Do you think I’m jobless too?

“I thought Yomi was desperately looking for me even to the extent of placing a bounty of 20k on my head. So who is on the run now?”

The Nollywood industry has joined the list of parastatals being rocked by sex allegation scandals worldwide, with women coming forth to call out influential people over sex abuse.

Actor Yemi Solade was also accused of sexual propositioning by a woman named Dolapo Lawal, which he vehemently denied saying, “This is not how to become a star.”
