Olorunyomi Makun, the fashion designer better known as Yomi Casual, has been hospitalised after surviving a car crash.

The award-winning entrepreneur broke the news in an Instagram post in the early hours of Monday.

In one of the photos shared on his page, the fashion designer could be seen in a hospital bed where he is receiving treatment.

He also showed a picture of his badly damaged SUV as a result of the ghastly car accident.

He accompanied the photos with a terse post which reads ‘Oni duro mi ese o!” — an ostensible reference to a hit song by Adeyinka Alaseyori, Nigerian gospel singer.

It remains unclear what led to the accident as of the time of this report.

Several Nigerians have since taken to the comment section of his post to wish him a quick recovery.

The 36-year-old has continued to pull the strings in the country’s fashion landscape with numerous beautiful collections.

He had last year recounted how suspected hoodlums looted his fashion store in Lagos during the #EndSARS protest that rocked the country.

“Woke up to this and the first thing that came to my mind is, it’s already too late to educate the hoodlums that this fight is for all of us and not at each other,” he had written.
