The reality TV star made a case for chivalry in a rather controversial tweet via her official Twitter handle on Tuesday.

In the tweet, the ex-BBNaija housemate questioned the upbringing of men who disregard such a gesture as chivalry.

She said she considers it rude for men to walk through doors before ladies, as against getting the doors for their women.

“I find it rude when a man walks through a door before a lady. Who raised you?” she wrote.

Tolanibaj’s tweet has continued to generate backlash, especially from social media users who considered it “wrongly timed”.

A train from Abuja was earlier attacked by gunmen in the Kateri-Rijana area of Kaduna on Monday night.

The locomotive, said to have over 900 passengers on board, had almost reached its destination when it was ambushed.

Several travelers were injured during the attack while unconfirmed reports of casualties soared in the media.

The gunmen were said to have blown up the rail track after which they launched an attack on the passengers.

In a subsequent attack, the railway station in Gidan, Kaduna state, was also invaded by gunmen.

Earlier on Saturday, gunmen had attacked the Kaduna international airport and killed a security guard.

The attack came a few hours after gunmen reportedly killed several residents across nine communities in Giwa LGA on Friday.

These killings hit nerves differently after the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the World Cup in a match against Ghana that ended with conflict at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja, claiming the life of a CAF official.
