Marc Tomblin, the new boyfriend of Wendy Williams, American TV show host, is reported to be a 27-year-old convicted felon.

Not long after she filed for divorce from Kevin Hunter, her husband — after nearly 22 years of marriage — and got herself a new lover, it is now reported that he is an ex-convict.

According to Daily Mail, Tomblin served two and a half years in jail after being convicted in 2013 for robbery with a dangerous weapon and breaking and entering in North Carolina.

The news outlet was quoting public records it obtained about the North Carolina native. On his LinkedIn, Tomblin is identified as a financial investor and blogger.

But he was said to have gotten out of prison in 2014 after having been previously convicted for crimes committed within days of each other and served 15 months for two concurrent convictions.

“People around Wendy are concerned for her well-being, especially since she is in such a vulnerable state with the divorce, addiction and alcoholism and the status of the show not being renewed yet,” said a close source to Williams.

“With this new guy, how can Wendy really trust him if she’s going through so much on her own. ‘The fact she’s brought him to New York is also a concern, she’s let him into her life and her home, people are worried he’s trying to manipulate her.”

Tomblin has repeatedly been seen in the company of Williams — who herself is 54-year-old and is widely thought to be old enough to be dating him.

However, despite these concerns, Wendy Williams seems to be unbothered and is reportedly set to get back on the dating scene with his new-found boyfriend.

“I am a 54-year-old grown ass woman. I know what I’m doing. Look, my ex-husband had a full baby with a woman he was involved with for 15 years, where I was cooped up only to be a show pony. Now, I’m living my life,” she told TMZ in an interview.

“I am working on my divorce pleasantly. I am a single woman, running around New York. I go out a lot, I’m a good time girl I like to have fun. I don’t have a boyfriend, but I must admit I am rediscovering my love of men,” she had said in one episode of ‘Wendy Williams Show’.
