Wizkid, the Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, has put out the visuals of ‘Diamonds’, his hit single.

The 33-year-old Afrobeats star announced the release of the video via his social media pages on Wednesday.

‘Diamonds’ is the second track of ‘Soundman 2’, the singer’s recently released extended play.

Directed by DK, the three-minute visuals begin with Wizkid in a dimly lit room, sitting on a stool while backing the camera.

As he begins to perform the song, he turns to face the camera and stands while kicking the stool to the ground and begins gyrating to his lyrics.

In December 2023, Wizkid released ‘Soundman 2’, his new EP — four years after the first installment in 2019.

The ‘Money and Love’ singer enlisted Zlatan Ibile and Wande Coal in the four-track project,

The songs in the EP include ‘Ololufe’ ft. Wande Coal, ‘Energy’, ‘Diamonds’, and ‘Idk’ ft. Zlatan Ibile.

The body of work came a year after the release of ‘More Love, Less Ego‘, his fifth studio album.

In November, the multiple award-winning singer hinted that he was on a five-year hiatus from music.

Born Ayo Balogun, Wizkid is among the leading names in African music with a huge fanbase, several awards, and honorary mentions.
