The video was released on Friday — a few days after she had shared a loved-up photo of the pair, thereby sparking relationship rumours on social media.

The photo had also left fans confused as to whether they were set to tie the knot or if it was from a musical project.

In the visuals, which also features Shaggi, a Nigerian comedian, Waje, 40, dwells on the theme of love with Hassani, 32, as the central character.

It also includes a scene where both music personalities shared a kiss as they spend time in a vehicle.

In 2019, Waje, whose real name is Aituaje Iruobe, had in an interview with TheCable Lifestyle spoke about how she intends to leverage on her platform to aid the emergence and global breakthrough of underrepresented talents in Nigeria’s music scene.

“I feel we’re all under the umbrella of Afrobeats but there are other genres also deserving of prominence,” she said.

“There are other artistes aside from those of Afrobeats that need the spotlight to showcase themselves. Having a concert that would grow to attain international recognition and have Nigerian artiste showcase themselves is ideal.

“This is because I do see lots of young artistes making the same mistake I made at the onset.

“Too much emphasis on being popular than making intentional efforts to build a bankable brand. Since I don’t have a record label to sign all of them, I can have a show that speaks for them. That’s what that is about.”
