Emeka Akumefule, Nigerian rapper better known as Blaqbonez, has come through with the visuals for ‘Fendi,’ a track off ‘Sex Over Love,’ his debut album.
The 25-year-old musician took to his social media pages to announce the music video, which features Joeboy, to his fans on Friday.
The less than four-minute visuals — directed by TG Omari — sees Blaqbonez and Joeboy in ritzy Fendi clothes as they frolic around vixens.
In the video, the duo croon about the physical endowment of their women — with a particular focus on the backside — and how the ladies’ appearances help to deepen their affections.
“Girl I like the way you bend it/ Bend it bend it bend it/ I fit buy you fendi, fendi fendi fendi/ Girl when you whine am,” they could be heard singing in a mixture of English and Pidgin.
Blaqbonez started pulling the strings with his rap skills as a teenager. At 16, he came first out of over 3000 rappers in Nigeria who participated in Terry Tha Rapman’s Zombie competition.
He has since released several hit projects including ‘Mr. Boombastic’ (2019), ‘Bad Boy Blaq’ (2018), and Bad Boy Blaq Re-Up’ (2019). The rapper has also collaborated with heavyweights in the Nigerian music industry.
Blaqbonez recently came under fire for mocking Yerins, ex-BBNaija housemate, over his early exit from the reality TV show.
