Akinyibi Ahmed, the Nigerian singer better known as Bella Shmurda, has put out the visuals for ‘Philo’, his hit single, featuring Omah Lay.

The song is a track from ‘Hypertension’, the singer’s forthcoming album.

Directed by Dammy Twitch, the video opens up in a village setting with some warriors returning home to their loved ones.

The scenery then changes as Shmurda is seen professing his love for his woman simply identified as ‘Philo’.

Shmurda started pulling the weights of fame when he dropped ‘Vision 2020’, his 2019 single, wherein he talked about his quest to take the country’s music industry by storm.

He continued his impressive run in 2020 with the release of the chart-topping hit ‘Cash App’ which featured Zlatan Ibile and Lincoln.

The song shot him into the limelight and also earned him recognition including a nomination for the ‘Next Rated’ category at the 14th edition of The Headies.

Omah Lay, on the other hand, has established a name for himself in the Nigerian music space with a number of huge collaborations to his credit.
