The product is a sticky pink liquid that a woman can smear over her sexual organ and expect an instant result, as it shrinks “miraculously”.

The ‘shrinkage’ of the organ is also said to facilitate penetration during sexual intercourse.

Niin Batt has been in use since 2013, but its usage is now rapidly rising, particularly in Dakar, capital of Senegal.

“Since I discovered this product, I’m not complaining. My customers are happy and it suits us. For when man is happy, he is able to empty his pockets to bring you all that is in it,” French website Afrique Beaute quoted a prostitute as saying back in 2013.

“With Niin Batt, men have the feeling of making love to a blank file. He not only narrows the gender but also coitus is easy.”

Women who have used the product, as well as their male lovers, seem to really appreciate it despite the fears of some doctors that it could be cancerous.

Sold at the price of $5, most sex workers have taken a liking to Niin Batt, which they claim helps them provide better sex to their patrons.

“This product, we know it well. And we use it because it is not prohibited. I would note that we ask the advice of a gynecologist whenever necessary,” another prostitute said.

“Personally, I have a gynecologist who follows me and does not proscribe me from using it . [This is] to tell you that it is not dangerous.

“To tell you that men love this product, I have a client who is careful to call me before you come, just to make sure I have the product with me.

“This means that Niin Batt suits us. It makes our work easier especially since we found out. It allows us to have more partners. With the thrill it gives to men, they are easily satisfied and we can move on to another client.”

In Nigeria, there have been different reports of  the use of some vaginal tightening creams by women, especially mothers who feel they have become loose following multiple child births.

Some have even advised the use of herbal soap, Aabab tablet, the neo-control chair and the kegel exercise.
