Dimeji Bankole, a former speaker of the house of representatives, has tied the knot with Aisha Saidu, daughter to Atiku Bagudu, governor of Kebbi state.
The wedding, which held at Harrow Park, Ahmadu Bello Way in Abuja on Friday, had in attendance several prominent figures including Aminu Tambuwal, governor of Sokoto state.
Also in attendance are Laycon and Timi Dakolo, two Nigerian singers, who thrilled guests with lovely music.

Tambuwal had earlier led the groom’s family to the bride’s family home to seek her hand in marriage during the introduction ceremony held earlier in the week.
Bagudu’s daughter is said to be a lawyer and graduate of the University of Hull, United Kingdom.
Bankole, who was the speaker of the house between 2007 and 2011, had divorced his first wife in 2017.
