Grace Makun, the sister-in-law of AY Makun, has shared a video showing the aftermath of the fire incident at the comedian’s Lagos home.
On Sunday, there were reports that fire had gutted the comedian’s house.
In a viral clip, firefighters were seen trying to salvage what little was left of the home, which had been reduced to rubble.

In his reaction, AY shared videos and pictures of his wife and children on vacation in the United States.
He also expressed gratitude to God for the safety of his family.
“Family and God. That is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in a few days,” he wrote.
While the cause of the fire is still unknown, Grace shared a video of firemen and AY’s brothers packing out the burnt remains of his properties.

In the Instagram post, she thanked God for the family’s safety and prayed for blessings and joy to fill AY’s home.
“Y’all be wandering why I’m appraising @lanremakunevents @yomicasual we cried and prayed together and God showed us mercy as a family Our heart is full of gratitude for @aycomedian @realmabelmakun we love you both God got you both and May he fill your home with joy this season,” she wrote.
