A lady based in the United States has claimed Davido, the Afrobeats singer, impregnated her.

In a series of posts on her Instastory, Anita Brown alleged she first met Davido in Dubai in 2017 and they dated “on and off until the pandemic.”

The lady claimed the singer refused to take responsibility for her pregnancy after she conceived for him.

To buttress her claims, Anita also shared screenshots of her conversations with Clarks Adeleke, who she claimed to be Davido’s cousin.

She argued that she never knew Davido is married, saying news of his wedding was not widely circulated.

“We met in Dubai in 2017 let’s be clear. This is not no one night, don’t ever play with my name,” she said.

“Off and on up until the pandemic in which then I was in a long relationship. And what really kills me is the married man narrative that I’m dating a married man.

“Cut it out, I did not know. Go to his page does he look like he’s married? I’m confused. Rest in peace to the child but people knew about the baby but nobody knew he got married.

“I’m in America, nobody here knew. It’s not on blogs, it wasn’t a big thing. I didn’t know and I wasn’t checking for it.

“I’m not looking to get married. Nobody is out here trying to allegedly mess up somebody’s marriage that was already messed up and that’s none of my business.

“I don’t want to take nobody’s place because there can only be one me. There’s only one Anita Brown. I focus on my businesses, working hard and doing me. And this happened. So what?”

TheCable Lifestyle has been unable to independently verify the lady’s facts.

Davido is yet to comment on the allegation. The singer’s camp is also yet to reply to a message sent by TheCable Lifestyle regarding the claim.

Davido engaged Chioma Rowland in 2019. But their union temporarily hit the rocks in 2021 amid allegations that the singer was in another relationship.

The couple resolved their issues and held a private wedding a few months later. They lost Ifeanyi, their only child together, on October 30, 2022.

In March, the ‘OBO’ coroner confirmed that he and Chioma are officially married.
