Tunde Kelani, legendary filmmaker, has screened ‘Yoruba Without Borders’, his first film shot with a smartphone, at the 2019 edition of the iREP international documentary film festival.

Speaking on the development, Kelani, who joined the league of global filmmakers who now use smartphones for film productions, said he was inspired to substitute camera with smartphone in the film production after seeing ‘Unsane’, a movie shot by Steven Soderberg, an American film director.
