Tonto Dikeh, the Nollywood actress, has insisted on her claims about a sex tape involving Jane Mena, a Nigerian dancer, amid her controversial breakup from Prince Kpokpogri, her politician ex-lover.
Dikeh and Kpokpogri had been involved in a heated war of words on social media after their relationship turned sour.
They had accused each other of cheating, with a series of leaked audios surfacing online to back their claims.
Amid the ensuing drama, Dikeh had claimed she found that Kpokpogri had — before she called off their relationship — recorded sex tapes of Jane Mena and other married women. She had also accused the politician of blackmail.
While Kpokpogri had apologised to Jane Mena for Dikeh’s claim, the actress took to Instagram on Tuesday to reiterate her statement. She also alleged that Jane Mena had reached out to her begging for them to meet.
“If I say your sex tape exists, I say it again and again, child. You can’t be begging me behind the scene and begging to see me for an appointment to explain yourself. Then you come with a petition,” the actress wrote.
“I’m not as dumb as your boyfriend. So I won’t be releasing your tape nor your call a week ago. See you in court.”

Dikeh’s statement comes at about the same time when Jane Mena petitioned the inspector-general of police (IGP) in a letter where the dancer alleged cyberstalking and criminal defamation of her character by the controversial actress.
In the petition, Jane Mena, who is married to Andre Plies, described Dikeh’s claim as “damaging and malicious”.
“The reckless and ill-motivated publications’’ have brought Janemena to public ridicule, odium, and opprobrium in the comity of Isoko women, her business associates, friends, members of her family,” the petition read in part.
Janemena, through her solicitors, had further demanded an immediate retraction of the said claims by Dikeh.
The dancer also asked that the publication of retraction be published in four national dailies in Nigeria. She demanded that Dikeh tender an apology and pay the sum of N500 million to her for the damages done to her person.
“If we do not receive your formal retraction, letter of apology and the sum demanded above within one month of the receipt of this letter, we shall commence legal action (civil and criminal) against you,” the petition added.
