Teni Apata, the Nigerian singer, has come through with a new single titled ‘Lanke’.

The singer announced the release of the track alongside its video on Thursday.

“Made this song while recovering from losing my voice and I just wanted to express how I felt coming through such a difficult time,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Lanke comes from a place of finding happiness in a time of difficulty. The road to what you desire may not seem straight but keep going.”

The song was produced by BlaiseBeatz. ‘Lanke’ is a follow-up to ‘No Days Off,’ Teni’s hit single released in May.

“I got the juice and the energy/Everybody wanna sodi to my melody/ And the baby demma steady blow my phone up/ Getting money and a nigga never fold up/ High taste and I get standard/ Blow a millie on a baddie toh ba se dada,” she sings.

“Blow trees smoke some gbana/ Put a baddie on a jet, fly to ghana/ Never alone with my guys/ I am in Liverpool on this side/ Chopping life like gobe/ issa banger bad bitches wanna ride/ I feel good/ I feel nice.”

The video was shot in Accra, Ghana, and directed by Syx.

The singer gained prominence after releasing ‘Fargin’ in 2017.

Teni has established a name for herself in the Nigerian music industry with many hit songs.
