Bukola Saraki, former senate president, and Toyin Saraki, his wife, have taken to social media to celebrate each other on the occasion of this year’s Valentine’s Day.
Valentine’s Day is marked annually in several countries as a unique moment to show love to one another.
In commemoration of the day, Saraki shared a lovely post on his Twitter page wherein he appreciated his wife for bringing him joy.
“Walking forward with you and meeting each new day that the future brings is one of my life’s greatest joys. Happy #ValentinesDay @ToyinSaraki!” he wrote.

Replying to her husband’s post, Toyin hailed the former governor of Kwara state, noting that being with him has been a memorable experience.
“Thank you @bukolasaraki. Each step with you brings joy, peace and a path of precious memories. Happy #ValentinesDay,” she wrote in response.
The couple are believed to have gotten married in December 1991. The union has been blessed with four children.
They had celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary in December last year in a beautiful way.
“Thank you for 29 extraordinary years and 4 wonderful children. I hope that we get to celebrate countless more together! Happy Anniversary!,” Saraki had written at the time alongside a beautiful photo of the pair.
