Dammy Krane claims that Portable, his colleague, is more relevant than Wizkid, the Grammy-winning artiste.

The singer, in a post via X, was discussing Portable’s recent collaboration on the song ‘Tony Montana’ with Skepta, a British rapper.

Skepta recently collaborated with Portable for the well-received single titled “Tony Montana” produced by JAE5.

The song’s critical reception has been a subject social media of discourse for Nigerian music over the past couple of days.

Commenting on the collaboration, Dammy Krane claimed Portable could be described as being more relevant than Wizkid at this point.

“ATP, Portable is more relevant than Wizkid. God use Skepta do this one again,” the singer wrote in an exaggerated comment.

Dammy Krane and Wizkid have had their squabbles in the past.

In 2016, Dammy Krane accused Wizkid of theft.

However, Wizkid chose to ignore the accusations and instead announced plans to embark on his world tour.

The clash between the two artistes finally occurred that same year at Quilox Club in Victoria Island.

At the time, witnesses told TheCable that “bottles were broken” during a heated argument between them.

No resolution has been reported since then.

Wizkid is not the only artiste Dammy Krane has targeted in social media confrontation.

In 2023, the singer accused Davido of refusing to compensate him for his songwriting contributions.

He also alleged that Davido “ruined” his record label deal with Sony Music.

Dammy Krane later resorted to collaborating with Portable to record a diss track aimed at Davido.
