Portable, the controversial singer, has caused a stir on social media after he arrived at his concert in Lagos inside a coffin.

The singer held his ‘Portable Live in Concert’ at the Afrika Shrine on Wednesday.

In now-viral footage, pallbearers could be seen dancing into the venue with a white coffin where Portable laid in.

Drums and traditional praises of Portable could also be heard in the background as they make the grand entrance.

Portable thereafter appeared in his signature pose the moment the coffin was opened before proceeding to perform.

This isn’t the first time a Nigerian artiste would be pulling a stunt during their concert.

In October, Asake performed with a goat during his tour in the United States.

Portable has been controversial since he had his big break in December 2021 when he featured Olamide and Poco Lee in a street hop song titled ‘Zazoo Zeh’.

In one such case, the singer was in the news for physically assaulting one of his signees after an argument.

Portable once claimed to have founded a cult that had terrorised residents in parts of Lagos state years back.

He also threatened to assassinate rival musicians nominated alongside him in The Headies 2022.

The police, as a result, ordered a probe into the cult claim while The Headies eventually disqualified him.
