The music star was at a concert in Ghana performing when she tripped and fell on stage.

A video of her fall surfaced on social media, although it wasn’t immediately clear what made her lose balance.

In a tweet reacting to the viral video, Ayra Starr tackled Afrochella, saying the stage wasn’t cleaned up.

This suggested that the singer tripped over stage trash, yet got up to continue performing.

On Twitter, Ayra Starr wrote: “Afrochella, next time y’all should clean your stage after every artist performance, that fall was very unnecessary and painful.

Born in 2002, Ayra Starr began a modeling career at the age of 16 before pursuing her musical career properly.

After covering several songs by popular artistes on Instagram, she posted her first original song in 2019.

This brought her to the attention of the record executive Don Jazzy and led to her signing with Mavin Records.

In early 2021, Ayra Starr achieved mainstream recognition with her eponymous debut EP and its hit track ‘Away’.

The hit track spent two consecutive weeks at number four on Nigeria’s Turn Table Top 50 chat.

The song hit 17 on US Billboard Top Triller Global, paving the way for her mixtape ’19 & Dangerous in August 2021.
