Portable, the controversial singer, has boasted that he’s the founder of the ‘Ajah Boys’ and ‘One Million Boys’ cult groups.

The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner has been in the public eye in the past few days over his apparent duplicity of interests during the recently held election in Osun state.

Portable had earlier endorsed the re-election bid of Gboyega Oyetola, the governor, and led various campaigns for him in Osogbo, the state capital.

He was also said to have collected money from Oyetola.

But the governor lost to Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the polls.

Shortly after the results of the election were announced, Portable was seen celebrating Adeleke’s victory.

His action triggered a chorus of condemnation on social media, with some users calling him out for ditching the APC after collecting money for Oyetola’s campaign.

In the wake of the criticism, the upcoming singer shared a video in which he was seen dancing wildly while taunting the APC, and Bola Tinubu, its presidential candidate.

But in the video that surfaced on Monday, Portable said he founded the two cult groups.

“Open your ears and listen well, have you heard about Ajah boys, One Million boys? I’m the one who founded it, go and ask,” he boasted in the Yoruba language.

His braggadocio comes shortly after people began ridiculing him for supporting APC. It also comes on the back of the death threat he claimed to have been receiving.

The ‘One Million Boys’ cult group was infamous for terrorising residents in some parts of Lagos state years back.

It remains to be seen if the musician is bluffing or is actually serious about what he said.

Until December 2021 when he put out ‘Zazoo Zeh’, his hit track featuring Olamide, and Poco Lee; Portable was largely unknown in the music landscape.

The singer has since then been in the news, mostly for controversial reasons.
