Abdulaziz Malami, son of Abubukar Malami, attorney-general of the federation, and Khadija Danbatta, his lover, have tied the knot.

The event took place at Alfurqan Mosque, Nasarawa GRA in Kano state, on Saturday.

Several dignitaries including Abdullahi Ganduje, governor of Kano state and Sale Mamman, minister of power, attended the wedding.

Mamman took to his social media page to share pictures of himself at the event while also wishing the newly wedded couple a blissful union.

“I am wishing the family of my brother and colleague the attorney-general of the federation and minister of justice@MalamiSan Allah’s guidance and protection as his son weds today in Kano,” he wrote on Twitter.

In an earlier tweet, Malami had said many would not be able to attend the event as a result of the directives of the presidential task force (PTF) on COVID-19, which limits the number of people at a social gathering to 20.

“Owing to the directives of PTF on COVID-19 I only seek for your prayers and goodwill for the couples,” he wrote.
