In November, Nubi announced her intention to embark on a solo trip from London to Lagos.

She commenced the trip in a car on January 30.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the UK-based Nigerian blogger said she will be arriving in Lagos in 10 days.

“Bring a friend, family members, or loved ones! Save the date: March 23rd! Your girl will be home!”

In another post via her Instastory, Nubi said she is about to cross another border from Gambia.

“I am just about to cross yet another border but the influx of love I received after announcing that I’m so close to home as got me teary,” she said.

“Thank you so much for cheering me on on this journey. Thank you for being part of this adventure.”

Nubi is making the trip with a Peugeot 107. The vehicle has been customised with features that will enable space for sleeping and dining.

The development comes nearly two years after Kunle Adeyanju, the Nigerian tourist, rode a bike from London to Lagos.
