“Get pink with the @Nickiminaj operator bundle now available in the Call of Duty Store.”

The rapper’s operator bundle includes a special loading screen, the “Nicki Whip” vehicle skin, and “Super Freaky” weapon blueprints among others.

Shortly after the announcement, Minaj wrote on X: “Dear Barbz, Today we make history. History books will say that the HARAJUKU #BARBIE was the first female celebrity made into a character on @CallofDuty”.

“I am so honored. So HAPPY. It was such a pleasure working with the #COD team. Let’s show TF OUT!!! Love, HB.”

The development follows the tradition of ‘Call of Duty’ featuring notable figures in their games.

Celebrities like Idris Elba, Ice Cube, Gary Oldman, Jimmy Kimmel, Michael Keaton and George Romero have all had cameo appearances on ‘Call of Duty’ in the past.

Minaj gained fame with the release of her debut album ‘Pink Friday’ in 2010.

Despite announcing her retirement from music to focus on family in 2019, she surprised fans in June 2023 after she revealed the release date for her new album.

This upcoming project — set for October — could also mark her first release under her own record label, Heavy On It, which she unveiled earlier this year.

Additionally, she expanded her reach by signing four artistes — Nana Fofie, Tate Kobang, Rico Danna, and London Hill — to her label.
