‘Calm Down’, the hit track by Rema and US singer Selena Gomez, has won the ‘Best Afrobeats’ category at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
The 2023 edition of the award ceremony took place on Tuesday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Taylor Swift was the star of the awards night, winning in eight different categories.
Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Davido, Fireboy DML ft Asake, Libianca, and Wizkid lost the ‘Best Afrobeats’ category to Rema.
