Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya better known as MC Oluomo, has taken centre stage on social media after a photo of his honorary visit to the state of Atlanta, Georgia in the United States went viral.

The leader of the Nigerian Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) took to his Instagram account to share a photo in which he and Ololade, his son, were seen in a group photograph with Brian Porter Kemp, governor of Georgia, and Marty Kemp, his wife.

“Honorary invitation to me and my lovely son, Ololade by the executive governor of Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Brian Kemp and his wife, Marty Kemp. ALHAMDULLILAH,” he wrote.

The photo has since gone viral on social media platforms, particularly on Twitter, where users flooded in to register their opinions on the subject.

While a segment of users applauded the NURTW leader for creating a better legacy for his children, others were appalled at how “thuggery” could reap such benefits.

“Who says thuggery doesn’t pay? MC Oluomo in Atlanta Georgia, USA,” a Twitter user said.

“Hello @BrianKempGA; are you aware Sir, that the man you hosted in your Governor’s Mansion, popularly known in Nigeria as MC Oluomo, is a notorious cult leader and a political thug,” another user asked.
