Jeff Akoh, former Project Fame West Africa winner, has released his debut album entitled ‘Lokoja’.

Lokoja, a 16 track album, was released Friday across all digital platforms as he celebrates his 21st birthday.

Akoh, who is signed to Temple Music, emerged winner of Project Fame West Africa in 2015.

‘Lokoja’ will be distributed around the world by Roc Nation, a US record label owned by Shawn ‘Jay Z’ Carter.

Prior to the album release, Akoh had put out two singles Shokolokobangoshe and Gbadun (Your Lovin).

Oscar, Cobhams Asuquo and Tee-Y Mix are some of the producers who worked on the album.

Akoh’s debut effort sees him experiment with music genres such as R&B, Reggae, Pop, Afropop, Afrobeats and House.

Speaking about the album, the singer said: “For me, Lokoja has been a rewarding journey coming from Project Fame West Africa. I must recognize Ultima Limited for laying the foundation.

“The title says it all. Lokoja is a confluence where several rivers meet. Likewise, my album is the product of different influences and genres that music lovers will appreciate. Please don’t take my word for it.”
