Roddy Rich, the US rapper, has hinted that he might get a house in Lagos.

The artiste, who arrived in Nigeria for the first time on Wednesday, will co-headline the Flytime Fest scheduled to take place from December 21 to 25 at the Eko Convention Center in Lagos.

Other headliners include Afrobeats singers Davido and Asake as well as Lil Durk, US rapper.

In a post via X on Thursday, the rapper hinted at buying a property in Lagos.

“I might buy a house in Lagos 🇳🇬 It is unconditional love,” he wrote.

Born Rodrick Wayne Moore Jr. Ricch started rapping at the age of eight and recording tracks at 16.

He gained popularity in 2018 with his single ‘Die Young’ and a feature on Nipsey Hussle’s ‘Racks in the Middle’.

In 2019, he released his debut album, ‘Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial’.

The album topped the Billboard 200 chart and spawned several hit singles, including ‘High Right Now’ and ‘Ballin’.

He has collaborated with numerous artists, including Meek Mill, DaBaby, Post Malone, and Ty Dolla $ign.

He has also received several recognitions for his craft.

In 2020, Ricch and The Weeknd, a Canadian singer, led nominations for the American Music Awards (AMAs).

He won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Song for ‘Racks in the Middle’ in 2020. He has also won two BET Awards, two BET Hip Hop Awards, and an American Music Award.
