Erica had previously broken the rules on whispering and misuse of the head of house (HoH) lounge, with Biggi stating that one more strike to her name would put her up for removal.
She then earned her third and disqualifying strike on three count charges of goading, threatening a housemate, and interfering with the production process after her verbal exchange with Laycon.
Erica had been at odds with the Lagos-based musician after she ditched him for Kiddwaya. She would later confront Laycon over claims she tried to kiss him.
The 26-year-old actress cum commercial model from Imo state becomes the first and only housemate — thus far — to be disqualified from the BBNaija season five, with barely three weeks to the finale.
Lucy Evicted From The Reality Show
Lucy has also been evicted from the reality show after she got the lowest votes from viewers.
She was earlier put up for eviction alongside Kiddwaya, Vee, Trikytee, Laycon and Nengi by other housemates.
During last Sunday’s eviction, Tolanibaj, Wathoni, and Brighto had become the seventh, eighth, and ninth housemates respectively to be removed from the show after they amassed the lowest votes.
Ka3na and Lilo were the first housemates to be evicted from the show followed by Tochi and Eric and then Kaisha Umaru., after which Praise, a male housemate, similarly got the boots.
The remaining 10 housemates will continue the chase for the N85 million grand prize.
The 2020 season of the BBNaija has so far lived up to projections, despite primordial fears that greeted the airing of the reality TV show as a result of COVID-19, which continues to claim lives.
