Eric and Tochi, two housemates of the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show, have been evicted, becoming the second set of the show’s participants to get the boots.
The duo, who were nominated to be kicked out alongside Trikytee and Kaisha, were removed after they garnered the lowest votes on Sunday.

Their eviction follows after Ka3na and Lilo, two ex-housemates in ‘Lockdown’ house, became the first set to be booted out of the reality TV show after they pulled the lowest votes for last week.
Like their successively evicted colleagues, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the show’s host, had listed them with Praise Nelson and Eric Akhigbe as housemates up for possible eviction.

The remaining 14 housemates will continue the battle for the grand prize of N85 million, within which other benefits are included, and ahead of which more evictions will ensue until the grand finale.
The 2020 edition of the BBNaija show had raised concerns among viewers considering that it is holding at about the same time when the world is grappling with the coronavirus pandemic.
Lai Mohammed, minister of information and culture, had also asked the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to take BBNaija off the air, citing fears of a possible COVID-19 spread.
