The third eviction at the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show took place on Sunday with Kaisha Umaru becoming the latest housemate to be booted out of the ‘Lockdown’ house.

Ka3na and Lilo were the first set to be evicted from the house followed by Tochi and Eric.

How did it happen?

Kaisha was among the 14 housemates put up for possible eviction for the week.

Erica, the head of house (HoH), and Kiddwaya, her deputy, were excluded from eviction in line with the newly introduced arrangement for this year’s edition by Biggie, the instructive voice behind the show’s screen.

During the eviction show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the show’s host, had listed her alongside Timmy ‘Tricky Tee’ Sinclair, Florence ‘Wathoni’ Anyansi and Emuobonuvie ‘Neo’ Akpofure as housemates up for possible eviction for the week.

This had come after they garnered the lowest votes during the course of the week’s voting by fans.

Kaisha polled 3.48 votes followed by Tricky Tee with 3.47%. On her part, Wathoni had 3.25% votes while Neo had 3.13%.

The remaining 12 housemates were then invited into the diary room to nominate two of the bottom 4 for eviction.

Their votes were as follow:

Nengi: Kaisha and Wathoni
Laycon: Tricky Tee and Kaisha
Dorathy: Tricky Tee and Kaisha
Praise: Tricky Tee and Kaisha
Lucy: Tricky Tee and Wathoni
Prince: Kaisha and Wathoni
Tolanibaj: Kaisha and Tricky Tee
Ozo: Kaisha and Tricky Tee
Erica: Wathoni and Kaisha

Kaisha had 11, Tricky Tee had 7 votes while Wathoni had 6 votes. Neo had 0 votes.

Two housemates were expected to be evicted at the end of the exercise, but Biggie announced only one would be leaving — a move which is the first since the commencement of the show.

Kaisha was consequently asked to leave the house after securing the highest mentions from fellow housemates for eviction.

The remaining 15 housemates will continue the chase for the N85 million grand prize.
