Eedris Abdulkareem, the ace rapper, has put out a new single titled ‘Lord of Jaga Jaga’.

The musician announced the release of the song via his social media pages on Thursday after days of teasing it.

‘Lord of Jaga Jaga’ is a sequel to ‘Jaga Jaga’, Abdulkareem’s 2004 hit banned due to the content of its lyrics.

It serves as his second song for 2023, coming after Thank You‘, a song of gratitude after a kidney transplant.

In ‘Lord of Jaga Jaga’, Abdulkareem poured out his emotions while describing the chaotic state of the nation.

The rapper took a bold jab at Nigeria’s ruling class and accused them of ruining the country with poor leadership.

“Dem say who know man dey kill mann. All the time our government dey kill us,” the song’s lyrics reads.

“Meanwhile, na dem suppose to protect us. Obasanjo na the chief campaigner.

“He dey write plenty letter to the jaga jaga master Buhari.”

Eedris, who is a veteran rapper, was part of the hip-hop band The Remedies from 1997 until they split in 2002.

As a solo artiste over the years, the rapper has gained recognition in the music industry.

Eedris Abdulkareem has at least seven studio albums to his name.
