Eedris Abdulkareem, the ace Nigerian rapper, has put out a new song titled ‘Thank You’ to appreciate his wife and the people who supported him during his battle with kidney failure.
The music star, while announcing the release of the single, said music is the most effective way to show his gratitude.
“It was a rough ride that was made a lot easier by family, friends, associates and well meaning individuals from all walks of life, and that makes me very humbled when I recall the enormous amount of love I got from you all. I will forever remain grateful and appreciative, and one of the best ways of showing my gratitude is through my vocation – music; hence the single –Thank You,” he said.
“I hailed as much people and organizations that I could remember in the song…but there are trailer loads of love and hugs to go round.”
In July 2022, the music star disclosed he was diagnosed with kidney failure. This prompted financial support from celebrities and fans.
TheCable Lifestyle reported how Yetunde, the rapper’s wife, donated her kidney to him.
Abdulkareem would later hail his wife for being “supportive and compassionate” after the successful kidney transplant.
In an Instagram post, the rapper also gave a shoutout to the people and organizations who supported him during his trying moment.
