Wande Coal, the Nigerian singer, has put out ‘Kpe Paso’, a new song featuring Olamide, the rapper.
The song was released in the early hours of Thursday, with a cinematic music video that showcases the lively side of the Yoruba culture.
‘Kpe Paso’ comes as Wande Coal’s first single of the year. The singer also described it as “undoubtedly my favorite song with Olamide.”

“Motipe paso/ Je’a nawo yhen ko to ku wazo/ Is it me or the Henny or maybe na the azul/ That booty look like a place they told me not to go/ They told me not to go (2x)/ Omo na things wey go kill me, me I want dey do/ Now put it down lori table kinwoboshe to (2x)/ Omo shori boshe to,” they sing in a mixture of Pidgin, Yoruba, English.
The Fuji-inclined song was produced under Starstruck Management and EMPIRE music label.
Born Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe, Wande Coal began his foray into the music industry when he signed with Mo’Hits records, a now-defunct music label, in 2006.
He has become one of the leading figures in the Nigerian entertainment industry, having started out as a dancer.
The singer has also collaborated with an avalanche of music stars and won multiple prestigious awards for his craft.
