Tyla, the South African singer and songwriter, has unveiled her highly anticipated self-titled album.

The singer’s debut studio album was released on all streaming platforms on Friday.

The 14-track project boasts collaborations with talented artistes such as Travis Scott, Tems, Becky G, Gunna, Skillibeng, and Kelvin Momo.

The songs in the album include ‘Intro’, ‘Safer’, ‘Water’, ‘Truth or Dare’, ‘No. 1’, ‘Breathe Me’ and ‘Butterflies’.

Others are ‘On and On’, ‘Jump’, ‘ART’, ‘On My Body’, ‘Priorities’, ‘To Last’, and ‘Water (Remix)’.

Tyla Laura Seethal was born on January 30, 2002, in Johannesburg.

In 2021, she signed with Epic Records after the success of her 2019 debut single, ‘Getting Late’ featuring Kooldrink.

In 2023, Tyla gained global popularity for her single ‘Water’ which entered the top 10 in sixteen countries including the United Kingdom and United States.

‘Water’ was the first song by a South African soloist to enter the US Billboard Hot 100 in 55 years.

In February, the singer won her first Grammy Award in the ‘Best African Music Performance’ category for ‘Water’.

Tyla has also earned nominations for a BRIT Award, a Soul Train Music Award, a MOBO Award, and two South African Music Awards.
